Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) is the total a towed vehicle can weigh when fully loaded.
- Gross Tongue Weight is the maximum weight that can be exerted on the hitch ball by the coupler. This is usually around 10% of the gross trailer weight.
- Gross Combined Weight Rating (GCWR) is the combined weight of the tow vehicle, with contents, including passengers, fuel, and equipment, in addition to the weight of the trailer.
- Gross Axle Weight Rating is the maximum amount of weight that a single axle can hold.
